Mission

To be the long-horizon, institutional steward of the world’s most constrained resource: delivering certainty to sellers, operational excellence to assets, capital to the water technology stack, and multi-decade access to the communities and ecosystems that depend on every drop.

Values

  • Certainty. Our offers are fully funded. Our commitments are final. Sellers and counterparties transact with confidence.
  • Hydrology. We are technical before we are financial. Aquifer behavior, decree priority, and watershed accounting drive every decision.
  • Stewardship. Water is a commons even when the right is private. We invest in ecosystem flow, community access, and aquifer recovery.
  • Discipline. Capital is abundant, patience is not. We underwrite at conservative price-of-water decks and hold through dry years.
  • Transparency. Every asset carries a published Water Stewardship Score™. Every reporting cycle is third-party assured.

Leadership & Governance

Aquivest is governed by a five-member Investment Committee drawn from senior water operating leadership and the Aquivest executive team. Committee approval is required for any acquisition above $150 million. A technical sub-committee of hydrogeologists, water-right counsel, and process engineers provides independent underwriting review for every transaction prior to IC approval.
